Matthew Briant joins Hill+Knowlton Strategies as the Managing Director of the Singapore office.

An integrated comms and digital marketer, Matthew is best known for transitioning branded content, media, and data in-house at The Walt Disney Company where he was responsible for all branded communications across Southeast Asia for brands; Marvel, Star Wars, Disney & Pixar. He has extensive experience working within both agency and client organizations. As Head of Digital at The Walt Disney Company APAC, Matthew redefined the region’s marketing strategy and built-up the digital practice from just himself to a dedicated team of 30. His team transformed and maximized all Disney content assets to drive consumer demand using deep-rooted data and insights.
Prior to this, Matthew was Director of Mobile at Dentsu Aegis Network APAC where he assisted both consumer and B2B brands in defining and implementing their social, media and commerce strategies. He was also a founding member of Dentsu’s Digital Centre of Excellence – Dentsu Mobius where he managed the communications strategy for Mondelez, Fuji Xerox and The Sands Group.

Matthew holds a BSc in Business Management from the University of Lincoln.
